Palak Soup

Ingredients:

Palak - 1 1/2 cups, chopped
Onion - 1 large sized, chopped
Garlic Flakes - 6
Black Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tsps
Sugar - 1/4 tsp
Water - 3 cups
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a frying and saute onion and garlic till onion turns translucent in color.
  2. Add palak and saute till palak is cooked.
  3. Once cooled, blend it into a smooth paste.
  4. In a vessel, blended palak, add water,salt, sugar,black pepper powder and bring it to boil.
  5. Mix cornflour and mix well and add it to the soup.
  6. Let it boil in medium flame.
  7. Add butter and turn off the heat.
  8. Serve hot topped with fresh cream.
